Not that praising the Brits be my pleasure, especially as they cheated France a couple of time, but great games, with talent, energy and a little bit of Madness. Bravo and thank you @ everybody. Bravo and thank @ London. Bravo and merci, Madam. (Please, click on the hereabove picture for the debriefing of the games, and on the hereunder image for more praising of Great, Olympic Britain, which is as reliable as ever, both as a great friend and as a great … match).
Anyway, Olympics are as good as holiday and watching TV on the sofa with a cool beer or singing old anthems in a stadium or the streets, but it’s time to go back to real competition #InRealLife, now (please click on picture to download & read the free eBook) if you want to be able to pay the rent and to afford a German car made in Britain (or Germany, but those are much less fun, much more German).

Some additional e-reading may be needed about how to be smarter at work or on the beach, and other important issues about the future of Europe, France, Britain and other places of the changing world these days. (Please click on pictures if you don’t wanna be a potatoe couch watching things happen and others enjoy success, love, French
learning bashing whilst you seat back in your chair reading the Sun, the Guardian or even worse and more biased against civilisation, the Financial Times).
Downloading some relevant pdf for printing is another option for readers with a taste for “real” paper books (or just no Kindle, but an iPhone, an iPad or whatever else works to e-read).

London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony
Sir Winston Churchill, once asked how he was so fit in his old age, answered : “No sport, never”. Her Majesty cannot say all what she thinks, but it might well be the same. Though she is more “rock n’ roll” than the old lion. Anyway, God Save the Queen.

Those who thought Madness singing “My House” on top of Buckingham Palace for the Jubilee was as far as her Royal Highness would go couldn’t imagine her parachuting with James Bond over the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games …
Please kindly click on hereafter pictures for a sample of French eBooks that can be downloaded on Amazon.com to e-read during or after the 2012 Olympic Games wherever enjoyable in London or other nice places of the world.
Last time so many ships were seen on the Thames River was 350 years ago, long before the Empire was built with united energy and intelligence, then preserved with great Royal talent. Even before the Cutty Sark sailed first. Bravo @ all in Britain.
The old Lady (the Cutty Sark, of course, honni soit qui mal y pense) will be happy to hear what so many boats have to say about so many seas since so many years, all the more since she can’t herself sail “odlschool way” for Queen and Country anymore.
One may not always agree with the Brits, especially when French, but one must admit they did a great job at sea over centuries, even if one may regret not to see the Queen’s picture under the sun of the other side … of the world, in Hong-Kong too. Anyway, please Click on picture to hear “Rule Britannia”.
To wait for the naval extravaganza, the James Clavell novell “Tai-Pan” novel is as close to pefect as possible. Otherwise, to read in French about less British changes in the world as it goes nowadays “the other side(s)”, please click on pictures.

From a French perspective, England and the UK may not have always been easy neighbours and perfect Euro-partners over the last millenium or so, but any fair-play French person must admit, that both this Queen and that Country are quite admirable !
