Good (War)Game(s), #London2012 ! Merci, Madam #Queen #England #UK #OlympicBritain

Not that praising the Brits be my pleasure, especially as they cheated France a couple of time, but great games, with talent, energy and a little bit of Madness. Bravo and thank you @ everybody. Bravo and thank @ London. Bravo and merci, Madam. (Please, click on the hereabove picture for the debriefing of the games, and on the hereunder image for more praising of Great, Olympic Britain, which is as reliable as ever, both as a great friend and as a great … match).

Anyway, Olympics are as good as holiday and watching TV on the sofa with a cool beer or singing old anthems in a stadium or the streets, but it’s time to go back to real competition #InRealLife, now (please click on picture to download & read the free eBook) if you want to be able to pay the rent and to afford a German car made in Britain (or Germany, but those are much less fun, much more German).

Some additional e-reading may be needed about how to be smarter at work or on the beach, and other important issues about the future of Europe, France, Britain and other places of the changing world these days. (Please click on pictures if you don’t wanna be a potatoe couch watching things happen and others enjoy success, love, French learning bashing whilst you seat back in your chair reading the Sun, the Guardian or even worse and more biased against civilisation, the Financial Times).

Downloading some relevant pdf for printing is another option for readers with a taste for “real” paper books (or just no Kindle, but an iPhone, an iPad or whatever else works to e-read).

Yes, we Europeans made it through July 2012 ! Let’s Survive August, now …

Let’s enjoy summertime as long as it lasts. And don’t panic just because the weather looks like winter in Northern Europe (with the exception of sunny London), like Hell in Southern Europe, and like … nothing in France. Let’s enjoy Holiday.

World Serious Games Begin, Now in London (and Euroland) : Beware the Brits (and Others) !

The French have enjoyed  some “Divines Surprises” for a while, with more gold medals than any other European nation at the Games and low interest rates on international markets in spite of the loss of their AAA and the victory of their socialists.

Pourvu que ça dure (as long as it lasts) …

#Euro Boys … Much Talk, Little Work, Summer Job in London … and Frankfurt

Mario Draghi is a good (banker ?) player. Nobody really knows what game he is playing at the moment, but all the big guys seem very enthusiastic about it. Or almost all the big guys. Because Angela Merkel recommends more work and less talk.

A Good Laugh a Day, Keeps the Doctor Away from the Red Carpet … at least a Couple of Days

Unexpectedly enough, French athletes are ahead of all Europeans as regards gold medals, second only to China and the US. Let’s laugh as long as it lasts. More unbelievable, Euro-ptimists smile at the moment. Let’s cross fingers and hope it lasts.

Some additional e-reading may be needed about this strange world as it goes, this bizarre Europe as it slows and this amazing France as it rows. (Please click on pictures).
