Frenchonomics à la Parisienne was bad, but Frankensteinomics sauce Hollande will be even more … French

frenchonomics

Frenchonomics is not a light Delikatessen to be swallowed with a glass of Chardonnay and jazz music, but an eBook in French with twits usually longer than 140 signs, and quite more than economists’ books standard one (more or less) new idea per hundred pages, which makes it rather tiring for sportsmen and sportswomen usually reading American football, British rugby, and French politics chronicles. But it’s free, downloadable and printable at office for those who don’t read eBooks on screens for whatever reason, and there is some (French) humour included, for those not allergic.

The-Economist

W…T…F… ?

Frankensteinomics may well be still worse, for those sportsmen and sportswomen who eat at American fastfoods, drink mostly English tea, and read French only if threatened to be sent on holiday in Germany. But the good news for everybody, is that the eBook is not ready for e-publishing yet, due to heavy rains over Paris, snowfalls in the French skiing mountains, and ongoing discussion (in French “dialogue social”, which may lasts years unconclusively) for the picture for the front page.

No fear, eBook coming soon (or maybe later).

Let's Walk

The Fall of France (according to a Yankee freelance journalist in Newsweek), so what ?

So, the French are falling, according to (an old Yankee lady writer selling papers to Newsweek now and then from her rest place in Paris, as reported in) facebook.

NEWSWEEK-facebook The Fall of France

The Fall … or the … Fool(s) of France ?

But what’s France ? It is about 1% of world’s population, mostly in Europe, many of them catholics, socialists and too fat, either because of too much food, not enough work, or both, most of them only interested in French football (soccer), French politics, usually both.

Vive la France d'Astérix et Obélix les Gaulois

But what’s the point for others ? France is a country with nuclear weapons and an inclination for economic depression, economic socialism, or both. Therefore its crisis, failures, elections, dreams and nightmares matter to countries and people of real world.

Frenchonomics

Their current Leader Maximo (maxi-mots in French) is a nobody, named Hollande (not France, surprisingly enough), but the country was named after an older Gaulois called “de Gaulle”, like the main Paris airport, and the French floating airport, then changed to “France”, nobody really remembers why. But who cares in the rest of the world ? Nobody, except the French.

So what ? Why waste time and energy bashing the French ? As a matter of fact, nobody knows, but it’s fun (if you’re not French), and  if you don’t know why, bash anyway, the French most surely know, as they know everything better than others (or so they trust, like they believe in French socialism, French Football, “Francophonie”,  Santa Claus and other fairy-tales). And as they can’t speak English, nobody will understand  if they happen to complain to somebody who is willing to listen to them.

So, the French (fries) are falling, but it doesn’t matter, nobody cares anymore about French “cuisine”, nowadays, even the French eat pizza, kebab and sushi with their coffee.

One French coffee ; kiss ; fry bashing a Day, keeps the doctor (and the French) away, especially if one drinks French Wine and eats French cheese and foie gras whilst bashing : the civilized Yankees and Brits call it the “French Paradox”.

Let's Go

Happy Beaujolais Nouveau Day, Dinner, Soirée, or Whatever Works for a Friendly Drink

Enjoy

Beaujolais Nouveau Day is a lovely French tradition, if not an ancient “coutume”.

Beaujolais Nouveau is a cool French drink, if not an extremely tasty wine.

Beaujolais Nouveau

Beaujolais Nouveau is Fun, but it’s soon over. Let’s enjoy it as long as it lasts !

Fun

In Paris, this year, they invented some now goodies around Beaujolais Nouveau : the “Beau” beau…ttle of Beaujolais, and the Beaujolais Nouveau Day Macaron.

Have France and Germany been friends 50 years ?

Is it believable, that the Frogs and Germans have remained at peace, and even friends, over the last several decades of economic world war ? #Evian : so #French, so Good, so … #Hollande

Evian Water is a side-pride of French Cuisine. Foreigners love its excellent … marketing, it’s delicious … ads and its perfect … capacity to alleviate anybody’s thirst for wasting money in a stylish, French but affordable way (not French, then).

So French.

So Good.

As long as the French way lasts …

Some additional e-reading may be needed about Europe, Euro-nomics, France, Frenchonomics, French Politics, European Politics, French Cars, French Food or even more important issues. (Please click on pictures if you don’t wanna be a potatoe couch watching the weather forecasts on TV and let others enjoy sun, success, beach, love, Champagne, French learning bashing whilst you seat back in your chair reading the Sun, the Guardian or even worse and more biased against civilisation, the Financial Times and the Economist).

Downloading some relevant pdf for printing is another option for readers with a taste for “real” paper books (or just no Kindle, but an iPhone, an iPad or whatever else works to e-read).

Frenchonomics : Good News, We Know the French Paradox is a Fake ; Bad News, The French Don’t

French Ducks and Geese are happy : US ban on Foie Gras is good for their health and longevity. The bad news is, the French will eat enormous quantities of Foie for Christmas and New-Year even if they are bankrupt. Because this is the French “tradition”.

#France could #change … or not …: So What ?

France …

… could change …

… or not …

… or yes …

… or not …

… or yes …

… or not …

… or yes …

… or not …

… or yes …

… or not …

… or yes …

Anyway, who cares to know urgently, appart from #RadioLondres and a few City traders ? Wouldn’t it be more civilized, and by all means more … French, to have a decent, cool dinner and read the newspaper next morning with a croissant and black coffee ?
