The Charlie Hebdo folks even had brains and guts, but this was not enough against big guns and frightening hatred.

Crowdfunding is not as dangerous as you may fear. It’s just crowdfunding, stupid !

No fear

So, normal people can invest (waste ?) their lifetime savings to finance projects that junk-bonders, bankers and government officers won’t waste (invest ?) investors’, customers’ or taxpayers’ money in. It’s just like stock-exchange, but for smaller money.

crowdfunding

So, is crowd funding another Wolf of Wall Street, or more stupid than any other way to waste one’s money buying useless, made in Asia, gadgets, invest one’s money in hopeless businesses, or spend the family’s savings in mortgaged housing before the next financial big one ?

CROWDFUNDING-ombrella

Well, who knows … it’s just crowdfunding, stupid !

Vive la France !

Everything is cool under the sun in #Paris #France

France may be the best place to live happily under the sun. Some people (with a red carpet) say, it may not last forever. Some say, it may not last for long. But as long as the French manage with Frenchonomics and borrow money for free, it’s cool.

Some say, there ‘s nothing like a free loan lunch, and one needs to borrow a lot to afford French retaurants. Anyway, it’s still holiday time in France, always look on the bright sun salt sight side of France life and enjoy Paris-Plage as long as it lasts.

Please, kindly click on the French cat to read more about it in French (but never awake the sleeping cat, especially the fat kind, of course), or just find a way to bypass it and follow the beach reading in English.

Some additional e-reading may be needed about how to think smarter about the future of Europe, France, Britain and other places of the changing world these days. (Please click on pictures if you don’t wanna be a potatoe couch watching things happen on TV and others enjoy sun, success, beach, love, Champagne, French learning bashing whilst you seat back in your chair reading the Sun, the Guardian or even worse and more biased against civilisation, the Financial Times).

Downloading some relevant pdf for printing is another option for readers with a taste for “real” paper books (or just no Kindle, but an iPhone, an iPad or whatever else works to e-read).

#Euro Boys … Much Talk, Little Work, Summer Job in London … and Frankfurt

Mario Draghi is a good (banker ?) player. Nobody really knows what game he is playing at the moment, but all the big guys seem very enthusiastic about it. Or almost all the big guys. Because Angela Merkel recommends more work and less talk.

Spanish Angst this Week-End in Europe …

Let’s hope we’ll remember June 2012 as a kind of Almodovar film, not without terror but with a happy end in Madrid and the rest of Euroland as soon as possible.

Those who would like to read more about risks of thunder and other possibilities of financial, social, economic, political or whatever trouble in Europe (and the rest of the world including usually sunny France) may click on the following pictures to reach a few series of recent eBooks.

Strange Weather Indeed in Southern Europe These Days

Black clouds could as well be very welcome in severalSouthern Europe places, where they lack rain and would be happy with some free water (or free whatever, these days), but some fear, that what looks like clouds could be black smoke from fires.

Those who would like to read more about ongoing climates and other changes in Europe (and the rest of the world including usually sunny France) may click on the following pictures to reach a few series of eBooks.

The Going Gets Tough for Doux : Douce France’s Frenchonomics at work ?

Job is good, but Christmas may come more often in France, even in spring … The Economist will surely be sadly ironical about the going getting really tough for the chicken specialist Doux and some other endangered species in the cock’s country.

The Economist is not always 100% fair-play about France (or Europe, for that matter) Frenchonomics or French cuisine, but one may find it strange even in Paris, that one could not manage a chicken’s business in French King Henry IV’s country, where the Sunday’s “Poule au Pot” was in principle granted for more or less everybody some centuries ago.

In case you don’t need to work on week-ends or can read in the tube or train to work, you may e-read more in these downloadable eBooks about ongoing changes (and other issues)  in France (and elsewhere). In French (nobody’s perfect) but with a non-biased sense of humour :
