The Fall of France (according to a Yankee freelance journalist in Newsweek), so what ?

So, the French are falling, according to (an old Yankee lady writer selling papers to Newsweek now and then from her rest place in Paris, as reported in) facebook.

NEWSWEEK-facebook The Fall of France

The Fall … or the … Fool(s) of France ?

But what’s France ? It is about 1% of world’s population, mostly in Europe, many of them catholics, socialists and too fat, either because of too much food, not enough work, or both, most of them only interested in French football (soccer), French politics, usually both.

Vive la France d'Astérix et Obélix les Gaulois

But what’s the point for others ? France is a country with nuclear weapons and an inclination for economic depression, economic socialism, or both. Therefore its crisis, failures, elections, dreams and nightmares matter to countries and people of real world.

Frenchonomics

Their current Leader Maximo (maxi-mots in French) is a nobody, named Hollande (not France, surprisingly enough), but the country was named after an older Gaulois called “de Gaulle”, like the main Paris airport, and the French floating airport, then changed to “France”, nobody really remembers why. But who cares in the rest of the world ? Nobody, except the French.

So what ? Why waste time and energy bashing the French ? As a matter of fact, nobody knows, but it’s fun (if you’re not French), and  if you don’t know why, bash anyway, the French most surely know, as they know everything better than others (or so they trust, like they believe in French socialism, French Football, “Francophonie”,  Santa Claus and other fairy-tales). And as they can’t speak English, nobody will understand  if they happen to complain to somebody who is willing to listen to them.

So, the French (fries) are falling, but it doesn’t matter, nobody cares anymore about French “cuisine”, nowadays, even the French eat pizza, kebab and sushi with their coffee.

One French coffee ; kiss ; fry bashing a Day, keeps the doctor (and the French) away, especially if one drinks French Wine and eats French cheese and foie gras whilst bashing : the civilized Yankees and Brits call it the “French Paradox”.

Smarter Cats Wear Smarter Hats

Smart Cat

Sometimes, even same oldschool cats need to think different. They must wear different hats for that. But that hat has to remain smart.

Different hat, same cat

Sometimes, even brainy cats need to wear really silly hats. But why shouldn’t that hat be smart ?

red-hat-cat

Now and then, real cats must wear real men’s red hats, like that hat or not. But that hat has to worn a smart way.

And when weather gets real cold, better buy and wear an appropriate hat, that’s what smart cats say.

Christmas Cats Hats

Only unsmart cats, don’t know about hat.

Nice Hats

That’s all a real cool cat has to think-sing about hat today.

It’s time for a #change, now, François #Hollande says … but when is #France gonna go #Forward ?

Many people think, that it is time for some change in France. The kind of changes, that Germany and other European countries have accomplished over the last 10 years, and that all Club Meds except Greece and France have started 2 or 3 years ago.

Please click on hereafter pictures if you don’t wanna be a potatoe couch watching the weather forecasts on Fox TV and let others enjoy sun, success, beach, love, Champagne, French learning bashing whilst you seat back in your chair reading the Sun, the Guardian or even worse and more biased against civilisation, the Financial Times and the Economist.

Downloading some relevant pdf for printing is another option for readers with a taste for “real” paper books (or just no Kindle, but an iPhone, an iPad or whatever else works to e-read).

#Euro Boys … Much Talk, Little Work, Summer Job in London … and Frankfurt

Mario Draghi is a good (banker ?) player. Nobody really knows what game he is playing at the moment, but all the big guys seem very enthusiastic about it. Or almost all the big guys. Because Angela Merkel recommends more work and less talk.

The Going Gets Tough for Doux : Douce France’s Frenchonomics at work ?

Job is good, but Christmas may come more often in France, even in spring … The Economist will surely be sadly ironical about the going getting really tough for the chicken specialist Doux and some other endangered species in the cock’s country.

The Economist is not always 100% fair-play about France (or Europe, for that matter) Frenchonomics or French cuisine, but one may find it strange even in Paris, that one could not manage a chicken’s business in French King Henry IV’s country, where the Sunday’s “Poule au Pot” was in principle granted for more or less everybody some centuries ago.

In case you don’t need to work on week-ends or can read in the tube or train to work, you may e-read more in these downloadable eBooks about ongoing changes (and other issues)  in France (and elsewhere). In French (nobody’s perfect) but with a non-biased sense of humour :

#Business as Usual in #France, #Greece, #Germany, #Europe, #World #EyesWideShut…

Some European business people seem to fear, that their world is different after French and Greek elections, last Sunday. Maybe they just opened their eyes, and maybe it was a wise business decision, after all. Now, they’d better learn to swim faster …
