As the socialists have taken over Elysée Palace, Matignon Hotel and several other prestigious old buildings in Paris and other big French cities, Qatar buys CAC40 and what pays off fast (tax-free) whilst China buys what may help its exports to Europe.

What is for sure, is that the French themselves are not exactly in an investing mood, and don’t have very deep pockets to keep their jewels, these days. Smart cats don’t eat, neither read crap, even on summer holiday. The good news is, whatever remote place for their holiday has now either electricity, or solar power available for cooking and reading (with exception of certain no-wifi areas overseas).

Some e-reading smart cats are Kindle addicts. Whatever works, as long as they are happy.

    

Some smart e-reading cats are somewhat more oldschool and prefer traditionnal sofa reading and “pdf” because it looks more familiar and can easily be printed (or they just like the French Youscribe MarketPlace).
